Video won't be mirrored on iPad 2 and TV

My new iPad 2 hdmi mirroring doesn't work for videos. The iPad is plugged the hdmi adapter and I gets the Home screen to mirror. When I play a movie using the videos app, the video only displays on my TV and the iPad just shows "your video is playing on your tv" message.
