FaceTime can't hear other person on iPad 2

My new iPad 2 has an audio issue with FaceTime. When I make video calls to my friend with Facetime, the video and the speaker are fine, but I hear the person I'm connected to. My friend can hear me.I try rebooting the iPad, turning the volume up, turning FaceTime on/off in Settings. Still can't fix the issue.Then I resync and back up the iPad to my computer, then tap Settings -> General -> Reset
